Capacity Building and Establishment of a Research Consortium in Nanomaterials for Clean Energy Technologies<\/strong><\/p>\n Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Postgraduate Research Studentships to work at the University of Jaffna under the general theme of Nanomaterials for Clean Energy and Health Applications.<\/p>\n Selected candidates should register and work full time for an MPhil degree at the university,\u00a0 preparing progress reports and research publications and assisting the research supervisors in all activities related to the project.<\/p>\n Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n Candidates may apply for the following work:<\/p>\n This work will be based on developing functional engineered bone-tissue constructs, with combinations of cells, growth factors & the appropriate biomaterial scaffolds. The position is open for those who have the above academic qualifications in the relevant subject area. Preference will be given to those who have research experience in biomaterials.<\/p>\n This work will be dealing with the fabrication and characterization of perovskite FETsand will\u00a0explore their unique optoelectronic properties. The position is open for those who have the above qualification and interest to do research in the Physics of electronic devices. This position is suitable for those who have experimental and theoretical knowledge in fabrication and characterization of thin-film field-effect transistors. Preference will be given to those who have research experience in electronics.<\/p>\n Age:<\/strong>\u00a0Below 35 years of age by the closing date of the application.<\/p>\n Remuneration:<\/strong>\u00a0Rs.50,000\/- per month (fixed)<\/p>\n The period of appointment would be 24 months.
