{"id":3312,"date":"2024-12-26T09:44:00","date_gmt":"2024-12-26T09:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hrncet.jfn.ac.lk\/?p=3312"},"modified":"2025-01-23T17:37:12","modified_gmt":"2025-01-23T17:37:12","slug":"postgraduate-scholarship-hrncet-2-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hrncet.jfn.ac.lk\/index.php\/postgraduate-scholarship-hrncet-2-0\/","title":{"rendered":"Postgraduate Scholarship tenable in Norway"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Postgraduate Scholarship tenable in the Western Norway University<br \/>\nof Applied Sciences and the University of Bergen, Norway<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Postgraduate scholarships to work mainly at the Western University of Applied Sciences and University of Bergen under the general theme of \u2018Nanomaterials for Clean Energy Applications\u2019 for two years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Selected candidates should register and work full-time for a Master degree with a research component at the Western University of Applied Sciences, doing Modelling \/ Simulation \/ Experimental studies on Nanomaterial for Clean Energy, preparing progress reports and research publications and assisting the research supervisors in all activities related to the project. The selected candidates have a chance to pursue a PhD degree after successful completion of the two-year Master degree.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Required Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">(a) BSc Honours degree in Physics \/ Chemistry \/ Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">(b) BSc General Degree with Physics \/ Chemistry as a subject and Master degree in Physics \/ Chemistry \/<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000080;\">Materials Science \/ Technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Preference will be given to those who have experience in working with nanomaterials.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Candidate must provide a certificate from one of the following tests(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uib.no\/en\/education\/49142\/english-language-requirements-masters-programmes-taught-english\">https:\/\/www.uib.no\/en\/education\/49142\/english-language-requirements-masters-programmes-taught-english<\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">):<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u00a0IELTS<\/strong> overall band score of at least 6.5. The IELTS test result is not more than two years old. The test must be of the type Academic. We do not accept the IELTS Home test.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: revert;\">\u00a0TOEFL<\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: revert;\">: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with at least 90 points for an Internet-based test (IBT).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/hrncet.jfn.ac.lk\/wp-content\/uploads\/HRNCET-2.0-Scholarship-Application.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">completed applications<\/a><\/span> along with a certified copy of the degree certificate and IELTS score sheet should reach the address given below before January 20, 2025.
